We know some of you would like to connect the main Cumberland Valley Rail Trail with the new Greason section between Greenhill Road and Springview Road. Because CVRTC does not own several of sections of the original rail bed, it is not possible to build a trail to connect the two at this time. It is possible to connect the two by public low traffic roads. This is an unofficial route with no markings and you are responsible to follow all traffic laws. When you go off the Trail, you agree that Cumberland Valley Rail Trial Council, Inc., shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages of any kind arising out of traveling on a public road. We feel this is the safest way to connect the two sections.
